Novozymes (China) Biotechnology Co., Ltd., located in Tianjin Economic and Technological Development Zone, is one of the world's three major strategic production base of the Novozymes Group and provide the China, Japan and Southeast Asia markets with a wide variety of enzyme products. To optimize the logistics processes, Novozymes has employed BPS to launch a logistics project in reducing production costs, optimizing its warehouse operations in Tianjin TEDA.
Project Summary
BPS as the project consultant, has conducted detailed field investigations and studies for Tianjin TEDA Novozymes warehouse. Combined with previous years’ storage capacity, and professional analysis and summary, BPS has completed the accurate estimation on its future inventory forecast, and carried out the planning and optimization of its raw materials and finished goods warehouses. The finished goods warehouse optimization includes: sample, WIP, finished products storage, packaging area, product shipment region, and temporary storage area for production line.
Investment Term
Through detailed investigation and analysis, BPS has carried out the comprehensive planning and layout design for Novozymes based on the inventory demand. As such, Novozymes will be exempt from the logistics fear, and allow full production, which greatly reduce the cost for overall market expansion, thus facilitate the improvement of the market position of Novozymes.
