BPS Global Group has recently completed a "Design & Build" office centre project for a well-known local bank at its Western District location in Hong Kong. With a total floor area of 6,000 square feet, this project marks the client's first hybrid workspace in Hong Kong that integrates office and leisure functions, representing a significant milestone in promoting new ways of working and strengthening its employee care culture.
The BPS Global team was fully responsible for overall space planning, design development, and project execution. The scope of works included the construction of office areas and meeting rooms, refurbishment of the lift lobby and the provision of diversified staff facilities. In addition to standard office amenities, the space features a nursing room (for breastfeeding), soundproof phone booths, shower facilities, massage chairs as well as fitness equipment such as treadmills and exercise bikes, addressing employees’ physical and mental well-being comprehensively. Green walls and planting elements were also incorporated to introduce natural vibrancy into the workplace, enhancing overall comfort and spatial quality while fostering a dynamic and efficient modern working environment.
One of the key challenges of the project was the tight two-month schedule, which required the completion of detailed design development and all construction works within a short timeframe, placing high demands on project coordination and site management. Furthermore, given the age of the building, technical adjustments had to be made in response to actual site conditions to ensure construction quality and safety standards. During the construction period, certain office areas remained in operation, requiring the team to strictly control noise, dust, and site cleanliness to avoid disruption to the client's daily operations and user experience.
Through meticulous upfront planning, professional cross-departmental collaboration, and efficient execution, the Group successfully delivered the project before the Lunar New Year (mid-February 2026), enabling the client to commence operations in the new office space on schedule and earning high recognition.
BPS Global Group is committed to delivering high-quality and forward-looking engineering solutions. The successful completion of this office centre project not only demonstrates our professional strengths in the Design & Build sector, but also reflects our comprehensive capabilities in space optimisation and corporate transformation. Moving forward, BPS Global will continue to uphold professionalism and innovation to create greater value for our clients and promote sustainable development.
