Push-Back Racking

Push-Back RackingFeatures:

Using a combination of rails and tray carts, as well as the goods’ own weight, push-back racking is a last-in-first-out storage suitable for large amount of similar loads.  With high space utilization, push-back racking handles goods according to the last-in-first-out principle, putting trays (or material boxes) onto nested carts, and pushing preceding goods back.  Carts ride on inclined rails. When goods are removed from the outer side, carts in the inside will roll down gently.  Placement and retrieval are done on the same side.  Cars can be colour coded for easy visual inventory.
Structural Characteristics:

Push-back racking is made up of upright beams, crossbeams, rails, and carts.  Rails are inclined at a certain angle and secured on the crossbeams of the rack.  Carts ride on the rails.  The entire structure follows the “cartridge clip” principle, placing the trays onto the carts so that the carts can be placed into the inner part of the racks. Forklifts do not need to enter the inner part of the racks, but are operated just like ordinary allocation and racking.  As the depth of the rack can be designed to accommodate allocation of multiple trays, push-back racking has a higher space utilization than ordinary racking.  With safety and circulation rate much higher than continuous racking, push-back racking are widely used in industries such as cold storage, books and electronics.

  1. Sliding carts that carry goods can be installed onto each level of the rack.
  2. A single row can be installed with 3 carts (4 pallets).
  3. Each pallet allocation has a maximum load of 2000Kg.
  4. Carts automatically go back to their original positions and they glide with stability.
