Cantilever Racking

Functions:

The upright beams are made of special section bars and are available in both single and double sided cantilever arms of with strong tensile strength.  Cantilever racking is suitable for storage of long materials.  The arm length is usually no more than 1.5m, and the loading is up to 600kg /arm.

Structural Characteristics:

Cantilever racking is mainly used for the storage of long loads such as section bars, pipes, timber, cables, etc. The upright beams are usually made of H-type steel or cold rolled steel.  The cantilever arms are made of square beams, cold rolled steel or H-type steel.  The arms and upright beams uses plug-in or bolt connection.  The base and the and upright beams are linked with bolts. Arm height is adjustable.  Goods retrieval is made by forklifts, vehicles or manual operation.  Shelving height is usually within 2.5m (if good retrieval is done by forklifts, the height can go up to 6m).  The arm length does not exceed 1.5m, with arm load contained to less than 500kg.  This type of shelving is mostly used in machine manufacturing and construction materials supermarkets.
